Middletown, DE takes down Keystone 11-0

Dover, DE- Middletown M.O.T. Little League entered the Little League entered the 2024 Intermediate East Region as the host team and they’ve made the most of their chances by remaining the region’s only unbeaten team.

Middletown would hold previously unbeaten Keystone to no runs on just two hits to down the Pennsylvania champions 11-0 and advance to the regional final.

Middletown would score solo runs in the top of the first inning, the top of the third inning and again in their half of the fourth inning to hold a 3-0 lead.

Keystone could never find an answer against the host squad. Middletown poured on 5 runs in the top of the fifth inning and a pair of runs in the sixth to advance.

Keystone committed 4 errors in the contest.

Carter Miller and Evan Edwards each collected hits for Keystone. Keystone will next be in action on Wednesday at 1pm when they face the winner of the Massachusetts and New Jersey game that isalso set for Wednesday at 10am.
