Lock Haven Police Department News Release:

Incidents:

Crash – On June 12, 2024, at approximately 7:00 p.m., there was a two-vehicle crash at W. Clinton Street and E. Park Street when a driver failed to stop at the stop sign on W. Clinton Street and struck another vehicle. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.

Crash – On June 23, 2024, at approximately 5:00 p.m., there was a two-vehicle crash in the area of Rose Street and W. Walnut Street. An unidentified driver struck a vehicle that was parked along the street and stated that the brakes in their vehicle had failed, causing the crash. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Offenses Charged:

Hailey Gillott, 20, Lock Haven, was arrested for False Reports to Law Enforcement Authorities. On May 25, 2024, at approximately 2:40 p.m., Gillott implicated another in a crime to law enforcement, knowing the incident did not happen. A

A 13-year-old male was arrested with Simple Assault on May 30, 2024, at approximately 3:00 p.m. The juvenile male waited for another juvenile male to get off the school bus in the 200 block of S. Summit Street before running up behind him, knocking him down, hitting him in the head four times, and then stomping on the victim’s head, according to police reports.

Ralph Lowe, 50, Lock Haven, was arrested for DUI. On May 31, 2024, at approximately 6:00 p.m., officers responded to a motor vehicle crash in the area of E. Church Street and Jay Street. Lowe had made a left turn off of Jay Street onto E. Church Street, going in the wrong direction. Lowe then struck an oncoming vehicle. Upon police investigation after the accident, it was discovered that Lowe was intoxicated.

Hailey Gillott, 21, Lock Haven, was arrested for Theft and Receiving Stolen Property. On June 4, 2024, a package was delivered to an apartment building in the 700 block of E. Bald Eagle Street. The package was stolen, and Gillott was later seen wearing items that were in the package.

Jason Leavenworth, 53, Lock Haven, was cited with an ordinance violation for Dogs prohibited in City Parks and planted areas. On June 21, 2024, at approximately 8:15 p.m., Leavenworth allowed his two dogs to enter the property at Taggart Park, which was prohibited.

Erika Jones, 36, Lock Haven, was cited with Harassment, and Destiny Merrill, 28, Lock Haven, was cited with Disorderly conduct. On June 24, 2024, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Jones and Merrill were involved in a dispute in the 10 block of E. Church Street, which resulted in LHPD officers being called.
