DUI/Crash
LAMAR TOWNSHIP– On June 17, 2024, at approximately 3:47 a.m., PSP Lamar responded to a motor vehicle crash on I-80 West near mile marker 176.2. Upon investigation, it was determined that the 32-year-old male driver from Altoona was under the influence of a controlled substance. Chemical testing was consented to, and criminal charges are pending toxicology reports.
PFA Violation
LOCK HAVEN—On June 17, 2024, PSP Lamar investigated a PFA Violation in the 4300 block of Renovo Road. The victim had received a phone call from the defendant in the PFA case, and as a result, an arrest warrant was obtained.
DUI
LAMAR TOWNSHIP– A crash occurred on I-80 West at mile marker 176.2 on June 17, 2024. A driver identified as IBN Holloway, 32, from Newark, NJ, was traveling west in the left lane while Shane Gillespie, 52, from Williamsport, was traveling in the right lane. Holloway entered the right lane behind Gillespie and struck the rear of the 2020 Peterbilt Cascadia that Gillespie was driving. Holloway’s vehicle sustained disabling damage to the front end, and minor damage was sustained to the rear of the Cascadia. No injuries were sustained in the crash, and Holloway was arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
DUI/Crash
PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP—On June 9, 2024, a crash occurred on Old Main Lane near its intersection with Fritz Lane. William Matthews, 45, from Williamsport, left the southbound lane, continued through the berm into a ditch, and struck a tree. According to the police report, Matthews was not injured but showed signs of impairment. Charges are pending.
