Lock Haven City Police News Release:

Incidents:

Crash – On June 12, 2024, at approximately 3:00 p.m., a U-Haul truck struck a globe on a streetlight in the 100 block of E. Main Street.

Crash – On June 14, 2024, at 1:40 p.m., there was a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of N. Vesper Street and E. Water Street when a driver proceeded through the stop sign and hit another driver. Both vehicles were towed from the scene, and the driver of the vehicle that proceeded through the stop sign was cited.

Offenses Charged:

A 12-year-old female from Lock Haven was arrested for Aggravated Assault. On May 14, 2024, at approximately 3:45 p.m., the juvenile female grabbed another juvenile female by the hair and pulled her to the ground. The juvenile female then struck the victim in the back of the head approximately 15 times, which caused a concussion.

Mill Hall Borough Police Department News Release:

Disorderly Conduct, False Reports to Law Enforcement

A 13-year-old juvenile was involved in a physical fight at Mill Hall Park on June 10, 2024. The juvenile reported that he was assaulted by several female juveniles at the Park, but video surveillance revealed that he was the aggressor, having chased another juvenile as they ran away from the altercation. The 13-year-old ran after and pulled the juvenile by the hair to the ground and punched them on areas of the body and head while on the ground. A Written Allegation will be forwarded to the Juvenile Court. The investigation is continuing.

Renovo Police Department News Release:

Renovo Police received and investigated a ChildLine report during the month of June 2024. As a result of the investigation, Renovo Police have arrested 35-year-old Faith Marr of Renovo, stemming from an incident that occurred between June 1, 2024, and June 3, 2024, in Renovo, where Marr is alleged to have provided alcohol to a 16-year-old juvenile. Marr was arrested On June 14, 2024, and released on bail by District Judge Mills.

Criminal Mischief Under $1,000.00

SOUTH RENOVO– Between 9:30 p.m. on June 13, 2024, and 8:00 a.m. on June 14, 2024, two tires were slashed on a Hancook Dynaproht P265/70R/16 111T and a 2002 Dodge Chrysler at a location on 6th Street, according to the police report. This investigation is ongoing.

Harassment w/Physical Contact

MILL HALL– On June 13, 2024, at approximately 1:24 a.m., PSP Lamar responded to 257 Main Street for a physical altercation that took place during an argument. Emilio Portillo, 48, from Mil Hall, was cited for harassment.

Harassment w/Physical Contact

FLEMINGTON– On June 12, 2024, at 4:08 p.m., a domestic incident occurred near Woods Avenue. Three individuals, including a 28-year-old female from Turbotville, a 29-year-old female from Flemington, and a 28-year-old female from Lock Haven, were arrested as a result of the incident. Charges are pending.

Motor Vehicle Accident

PORTER TOWNSHIP– On June 12, 2024, Francis Benedetti, 74, from Greensburg, PA, was traveling on I-80 West near mile marker 175.1. Benedetti was traveling in the right lane when a deer entered the roadway, causing him to veer left to avoid hitting it. Benedetti traveled across the left lane and struck a bridge, which caused disabling damage to the vehicle. Minor injuries were sustained as a result of the crash, and the driver was not wearing his seat belt.

Harassment w/Physical Contact

RENOVO– On June 12, 2024, PSP Lamar responded to a report of an incident involving harassment between a 68-year-old male from Renovo and a 47-year-old female from Renovo on Delaware Avenue. Through investigation, it was determined that an argument occurred between the two parties. The argument turned physical, resulting in one party being charged with Harassment/Physical Contact.

Retail Theft/Shoplifting

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP– On June 11, 2024, at 1:01 p.m., PSP Lamar Troopers responded to Walmart in Mill Hall for a retail theft. A 30-year-old female from Lock Haven was arrested as a result of the incident. Charges will be filed through District Court 25-3-02.

Simple Harassment

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On June 10, 2024, PSP Lamar responded to 1098 Renovo Road for a domestic incident involving injury. Through investigation, it was determined that Michelle Hoffman, 30, from Lock Haven, struck Matthew Shope, 38, from Flemington, over the head with a bottle, causing a small laceration. This incident escalated when Shope grabbed Hoffman by the neck and struck her head off the ground an unknown number of times, causing moderate physical injury to her face and head. Both parties were taken into custody and transported to the Clinton County Correctional Facility. Charges were filed through District Court 25-3-02.

Drug Possession

GRUGAN TOWNSHIP– On June 9, 2024, PSP Lamar checked on a disabled motorist at 7402 Renovo Road. Through investigation, it was determined that the driver was in possession of a controlled substance, according to the report.

Retail Theft/Shoplifting

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP– On June 9, 2024, a retail theft incident occurred at Walmart in Mill Hall. A 27-year-old female from Norristown was charged with retail theft through District Court 25-3-02.

Harassment w/Physical Contact

COLEBROOK TOWNSHIP– PSP Lamar responded to a domestic incident involving a 92-year-old female victim that took place on Allysum Lane on June 9, 2024. Through investigation, it was determined that no crime had been committed.

Motor Vehicle Accident

GREENE TOWNSHIP– An accident occurred on June 7, 2024, as Sharon Hintemeyer, 65, from Howard, was traveling on I-80 West in the left lane near mile marker 192. This portion of I-80 was under maintenance, and the right lane was closed. Hisham Salem, 37, from Chicago, IL, was stopped at a stop sign at the on-ramp to I-80 West at mile marker 192. This stop sign was controlling traffic entering the left travel lane of I-80 West in the work zone. Prior to impact, Salem proceeded without clearance to the left travel lane. The initial point of impact occurred when Hintemeyer struck Salem and then continued west before striking a guide rail. Hintemeyer came to a final stop against the guide rail, and Salem continued west approximately 75 feet before coming to a final stop on the shoulder of the highway. The drivers and their passengers were not injured in the crash.

Hit and Run

GRUGAN TOWNSHIP– On June 7, 2024, at 8:58 a.m., Kyle Lundfelt, 39, of Renovo, was heading westbound on Renovo Road (SR120) near 6684 Renovo Road when a crash occurred. Prior to the crash, Benjamin Primozic, 30, of Renovo, was traveling eastbound on SR120 near 6684 Renovo Road. The crash occurred after Lundfelt failed to negotiate an upcoming right-hand turn and crossed the double yellow lines into the eastbound lane, striking Primozic. Lundfelt struck Primozic, causing Primozic to travel off SR-120’s west shoulder. Primozic was thrown off his motorcycle onto an embankment on the West shoulder. The motorcycle proceeded to travel until it came to a final stop approximately 10 yards off the shoulder. Following the collision, Lundfelt continued to travel west in the eastbound lane before exiting the roadway off the shoulder. Lundfelt then hit an embankment about 70 yards from the point of impact. Lundfelt fled the scene, and Primozic was taken to UPMC Williamsport with suspected serious injuries.

Simple Trespassing

WAYNE TOWNSHIP—On June 6, 2024, PSP Lamar responded to 786 McElhattan Drive for a report of trespassing. Through investigation, it was determined that the suspect was asked to leave the property and fled prior to PSP’s arrival. This investigation is ongoing.

Motor Vehicle Accident

LAMAR TOWNSHIP– On June 6, 2024, Carol White, 76, from Mill Hall, was traveling south on Long Run Road (SR 477). Prior to impact, White was negotiating a slight left-hand curve in the roadway. The initial point of impact occurred when White traveled off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole. After the initial point of impact, White continued south through a yard for approximately 75 feet before striking a shrub and a mailbox. After the final impact, White came to a final rest on the right shoulder of the roadway. White did not sustain any injuries as a result of the crash, however, her vehicle sustained disabling damage to its front end and was towed from the scene.

Retail Theft/Shoplifting

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP– Between March 30, 2024, and May 22, 2024, Loss Prevention at Weis Markets in Mill Hall reported a string of retail thefts that had occurred. According to the report, loss Prevention was able to ascertain the identity of the actor, a 60-year-old male from Lock Haven, who committed 19 retail thefts on or between those dates. Appropriate charges are being filed through District Court 25-3-02 for retail theft.
