“All The World’s A Stage”

Luncheon Planned for June 26

LOCK HAVEN – On Wednesday, June 26, 2024 The Lock Haven Christian Women’s Connection will enjoy their “All The World’s A Stage” Luncheon. The program will be held at the Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal Street, Allison Township. There is always good food, lots of fun and music, and gifted speakers that help inform and inspire ladies to make a most memorable day.

The theme of June’s lunch is ”All The World’s A Stage ”. The Feature theme of the luncheon will be a presentation about Millbrook Playhouse by Erla Mae Frederick who has been the President of the Millbrook Board for sixteen years. Her feature program will give information about Millbrook Playhouse, its history and what’s available. A special emphasis will be on The Performance Academy, Millbrook’s youth component.

The special music guest for the Luncheon is vocal talent and Keystone Central Elementary teacher Jonie Keches Bergey.

The guest speaker for the day is Bobbi DeZarn from Erie, Pennsylvania. The title of her talk is “What’s In A Word?” She discusses how a family tragedy and a directionless life led to her love for “The Word”.

The program begins at 11:50 a.m.. The cost of $15.00 per person includes lunch, entertainment, inspirational speaker and free parking. All area women are invited. The location allows for on-site childcare for young mothers. Nursery reservations must be made at the time that luncheon reservations are made. Mothers are asked to bring a lunch or snack for the child.

This is a perfectly good time to meet new friends and catch up with long-time friends! The Luncheon is a warm and welcoming way to renew and refresh.

The rest of the dates for the 2024 luncheons are: September 11, October 23, and December 4. The group is requesting all who plan to attend to make reservations. All reservations for the luncheon MUST be honored.
