LHU’s Ryan Miller named to PSAC Spring Top-10
LOCK HAVEN– Ryan Miller (Bradford, Pa./Bradford) of the Lock Haven men’s outdoor track and field team has been named to the 2024 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Spring Sports Top-10 list.
Miller earned the prestigious award for the second time in his career, after being named the Winter PSAC Top-10 recipient in 2022-23.
The Top 10 Awards, selected by the PSAC’s sports information directors, recognize student-athletes who distinguish themselves in the classroom, as well as in the arena of competition. The conference designates Top 10 Award winners after each of the sports seasons: fall, winter and spring.
To be a candidate for the Top 10 Awards, a student-athlete must have achieved a minimum of a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (as of Fall 2009 awards) and must be a starter or key reserve with legitimate athletic credentials.

In the classroom, Miller holds a perfect 4.0 GOA as a biology and ecology major, which earned him the 2024 Men’s Track & Field Champion Scholar.
On the track, Miller enjoyed a sensational outdoor season in the spring for the Bald Eagles, ending in a PSAC Outdoor Individual Championship in the 400-meter dash. The senior also placed fifth at 200 meters and ran on Lock Haven’s fourth-place 4×400-meter relay. Miller was also a key member of Lock Haven’s school-record sprint medley relay run at the 2024 Penn Relays, this season.
The Top-10 Award joins a long list of accolades for Miller in 2023-24 after being named Lock Haven’s Senior Scholar Men’s Athlete of the Year and the Bald Eagle Senior Award, given to the top-male senior student-athlete each year.
