Spring to be Welcomed by Winter Weather

STATE COLLEGE – The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the area for Friday, March 20, 2014. The Storm could dump as much as 4-6 inches of snow just in time to officially greet the Spring season.

The advisory is in effect for 4 a.m. until 6 p.m. Friday.

Snow will overspread the area from the pre-dawn hours Friday morning with the period of heaviest snow expected from mid morning into early afternoon.

The accumulation is expected to be significant and create hazardous conditions especially for the morning commute. Travelers are urged to use caution for the duration of the storm.
