LHU Tennis falls at Bloomsburg

BLOOMSBURG– The Lock Haven tennis team fell in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division match, 7-0, to Bloomsburg on the road on Tuesday afternoon (April 9).

The Bald Eagles move to 5-2 overall and 0-2 in the PSAC East. Bloomsburg moves to 8-6 overall and 2-1 in the East.

In doubles, Bloomsburg took two out of three matches to earn the doubles team point for the contest.

At No. 3 doubles, Claire Long (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) and Alaina Marchioni (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville) continue their hot run as a team, securing a 7-5 win, improving their team record to 4-1 and their doubles records to 4-1 and 3-1, respectively.

Bloomsburg took six singles matches in the contest.

The Bald Eagles will host West Chester at the Lock Haven Tennis Courts on Saturday (April 13), their first home conference match of the spring season.
