Coroner says Chapman Township drowning a fishing accident
LOCK HAVEN — The Clinton County coroner’s office confirmed Sunday that a man accidentally drowned in Chapman Township on Young Womans creek Saturday.
The 31-year-old Benton man was identified as James Ray. According to Chief Deputy Coroner Jennifer Sholley, Mr. Ray drowned in after a fishing accident Saturday and was found unresponsive in the water around 2p.m.
