PEDESTRIAN STRUCK

On 3/6/24, the Pine Creek Township Police Department, along with fire and EMS, responded to a call regarding a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle on Woodward Avenue. The incident occurred in the 2100 block of Woodward Avenue around 7:40 pm. The victim, a 41-year-old male from Jersey Shore, was found on Harley Drive, located off Woodward Avenue.

The pedestrian sustained moderate injuries as a result of being struck by the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle immediately pulled over and contacted 911, informing them that the pedestrian could not be found. Subsequently, the male pedestrian began to walk from Woodward Avenue onto Harley Drive, heading towards Park Avenue.

Fire and EMS personnel located the pedestrian on Harley Drive and immediately provided him with necessary medical treatment. The male pedestrian was then transported to UPMC Williamsport by Jersey Shore Area EMS for further medical attention. Avis Fire Company and Woolrich Fire Company also responded to the scene and provided assistance as needed.

Pine Creek Township Police Department is now asking for assistance from anyone who was traveling on Woodward Avenue on 3/6/24 around 7:40 pm and observed a male walking along the road.
