Obstruction of highways and other public passages

KENNETH AUTHUR GEORGE of Long Run Road was charged with Obstruction of highways and other public passages stemming from an incident 02/28/24 when GEORGE intentionally drove a 4 foot long steel pipe into a shared alley/ right-away to block the ingress and egress of a business to customers and company vehicles. This was the second time GEORGE had been reported of doing the same act, on 01/26/24 GEORGE was given a verbal warning by police.  Charges will be filed in District Court 25-3-02.

Lock Haven City Police News Release March 6, 2024 Incidents:

Found Property – On February 29, 2024, a BMX style bicycle was found abandoned at the Haven Wash Station, 369 E. Main St.

Crash – On March 5, 2024, at 9:10pm, there was a three-vehicle crash at Campus Dr and N. Fairview St. Unit 1 failed to yield the right of way to two vehicles turning off of Campus Dr. There were no injuries, and all vehicles were driven from the scene. The driver of Unit 1 was cited.

Offenses Charged: Jayden Johnson, 19, Lock Haven, was cited with Criminal Mischief. On November 14, 2023, at approximately 1:40am, Johnson threw a rock through a window of an apartment in the 100 block of N. Fairview St, breaking it.

Christina Straub, 33, Lock Haven, was arrested for Access Device Fraud. Between January 17, 2024, and January 28, 2024, Straub took a gift card that was found at The Goodwill Store, 120 E. Walnut St, and used it for multiple purchases in the store.

Michael Wright, 26, Lock Haven, was arrested for DUI. On February 11, 2024, officers responded to a noise complaint in the E. Water St parking lot. Officers observed two vehicles beginning to leave and then both vehicles returned to their parking spots. Officers spoke with Wright who was the driver of one of the vehicles. While speaking with him, it was determined that he was under the influence of alcohol.

William Houtz, 57, Lock Haven, was arrested for DUI. On February 19, 2024, at 10:26pm, Houtz was stopped on W. Fourth St at Wert Ln. During the stop, Houtz was found to be under the influence of alcohol.

Dominick Fisher, 18, Lock Haven, was arrested for Simple Assault and Recklessly Endangering Another Person. On February 24, 2024, Fisher got into an argument with the victim at a residence in the 100 block of E. Water St. Fisher threw a phone at the victim striking her in the head with it, causing a laceration to the victim’s forehead.

Dylan Moyer, 21, Lock Haven, was arrested for Simple Assault. On February 29, 2024, at approximately 8:20am, Moyer punched the victim in the face at a residence in the 10 block of S. Fairview St, causing multiple facial fractures.

An 11-year-old female was arrested for Simple Assault. On March 1, 2024, at approximately 3:30pm, the 11-year-old female punched the victim, a 12-year-old female, in the head 24 times and struck her with a metal cup 3 times in the head.
