Central Mountain Music Department shines in recent competitions

The Central Mountain Music Department has seen its students shine brightly in recent jazz and band competitions. Several students took part in auditions for the District 4 Jazz Band, where they collaborated with jazz educators from across Pennsylvania and beyond.

In addition Central Mountain’s Emily Bechdel, Samantha Darrow, and Gregory Stuber participated in Region III Band held at Bald Eagle Area. Gregory Stuber earned a spot in the PMEA All-State Concert Band as one of only two bassists chosen statewide.

The achievements of these students reflect the dedication and talent nurtured within the Central Mountain Music Department, showcasing its commitment to excellence in music education.
