Criminal Mischief

CRAWFORD TOWNSHIP – On February 13, 2024, at 1:06 a.m., PSP Lamar responded to 3285 Rauchtown Road to investigate an incident of criminal mischief wherein a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta was vandalized. This investigation remains open.

Harassment

RENOVO – On February 12, 2024, at 1:57 a.m., PSP Lamar responded to 5th Street in Renovo for a reported domestic incident involving physical contact between a 20-year-old female from Lock Haven and a 23-year-old male from Renovo. Citations were filed through District Court 25-3-03.

Criminal Trespass

FLEMINGTON – On February 10, 2024, at 11:33 a.m., a 19-year-old female reported that an unknown male had walked into her kitchen. PSP Lamar Troopers were dispatched to the residence on Frederick Street, but the suspect fled the residence prior to their arrival. Joshua Grieb, 43, of Castanea was located soon thereafter and taken into custody. Greib was charged with Criminal Trespass, Harassment, and Disorderly Conduct, and was subsequently taken to the Clinton County Prison where he awaits a preliminary hearing.

Harassment w/Physical Contact

LAMAR – PSP Lamar is investigating an incident of harassment that occurred on Sun Valley Road on February 10, 2024. The victim is identified as a 10-year-old male from Mill Hall and the arrestee is a 42-year-old male from Lock Haven.

DUI Crash

CASTANEA – On February 10, 2024, Jamison Jones, 19, of Wilkes Barre was arrested for DUI after crashing his 2006 Hyundai Elantra on SR 220 North near mile marker 113 in Castanea Township. Jones was traveling in the right lane when he traveled off the roadway and hit the embankment, causing his vehicle to spin around. The vehicle then became disabled. Jones was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured in the crash.

Theft

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – A 33-year-old female from Lock Haven and a 28-year-old male from Mill Hall reported a theft that took place on Plunket Run Road on February 9, 2024, at 9:35 p.m. The actor is identified as a 30-year-old female from Mill Hall. The property stolen includes a black handbag valued at $5.00, a pair of boots worth $250.00, and a container of medication. This investigation is ongoing.

Drug Possession

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – On February 9, 2024, a traffic stop was conducted on a 2017 Ford Escape on Creek Road near Cottage Lane. Upon investigation, officers found that the driver was in possession of drugs and paraphernalia. Charges were filed through District Court 25-3-02.

DUI

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – PSP Lamar initiated a traffic stop on a 2017 Ford Escape driven by a 17-year-old male from Beech Creek on February 9, 2024. The traffic stop took place on Creek Road near Cottage Lane and during the investigation, it was determined that the driver was under the influence of marijuana. Chemical testing was consented to and charges are pending toxicology.

Theft by Deception/Identity Theft

CHAPMAN TOWNSHIP – PSP Lamar investigated a case of identity theft on February 9, 2024. The victim, identified as a 42-year-old male from Renovo, reported that an unknown actor opened a City Bank debit card in his name by unknown means. The matter is still under investigation.

PFA Violation

WAYNE TOWNSHIP – PSP Lamar responded to a report of a PFA violation that took place on Youngdale Road on February 8, 2024. Upon investigation, it was determined that Jeremy Baney, 27, from Williamsport, observed the 24-year-old female victim along a roadway, stopped a vehicle, and yelled expletives at her. Charges were filed through District Court 25-3-01.

Harassment w/Physical Contact

PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP – PSP Lamar responded to a physical altercation between two males aged 48 and 50, from Jersey Shore and Lock Haven, respectively. The altercation took place at 76 Spong Hollow Road on February 8, 2024, at 10:42 p.m. Both males were cited with harassment through District Court 25-3-01.

Hit and Run – Commercial Vehicle

PORTER TOWNSHIP – On February 7, 2024, PSP Lamar responded to a crash that occurred on I-80 East near mile marker 171. According to police reports, an unknown vehicle side-swiped a commercial vehicle driven by Kenneth Moore, 32, of Columbia, SC, breaking off the driver’s side mirror. The vehicle did not stop or report the incident after the collision took place.

Criminal Trespass

GRUGAN TOWNSHIP – PSP Lamar is currently investigating an alleged trespass that occurred on Hyner River Road on February 7, 2024, at 2:01 p.m. According to police reports, a 2008 Dodge Chrysler was involved in the incident. No further details are available at this time, however the investigation is ongoing.

Theft

PORTER TOWNSHIP – A check for $5,000.00 was stolen from Jesse Glossner, 51, of Beech Creek on February 6, 2024. According to PSP Lamar, the check was taken from 1350 Dotterers Road. The incident remains under investigation.
