IMT Pre-Apprenticeship Opens at Keystone Central Career and Technology Center
Keystone Central Career and Technology Center (KC CTC) is pleased to announce that they have been awarded an Industrial Manufacturing Technician (IMT) Pre-Apprenticeship offering through its Agriculture Mechanics program. The IMT role involves operating production equipment while closely following guidelines, blueprints, and diagrams to ensure the accuracy of the products being produced based on the company’s standards.
The IMT Pre-Apprenticeship allows high school students to begin a pathway to a career in manufacturing. Students will leave the program with a certificate from the Department of Labor and Industry that can lead to a rewarding career in the field of Industrial Maintenance. The pre-apprenticeship program meets industry standards within the industrial manufacturing sector of industry while allowing students to take their knowledge to higher levels by using their certificate to reduce the amount of time spent in industry to achieve a full registered apprenticeship.
Under the instruction of Mr. Paul Bohnert, this school year will see the first group of students graduate from this innovative program.
