Lock Haven City Police News Release February 12, 2024

Incidents: Crash “On February 9, 2024, at 1:13pm, there was a one vehicle crash on Bellefonte Ave at Spring St. The vehicle went up over the curb striking a tree and a street sign. There were no injuries, and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

Offenses Charged: Stacey Edwards, 33, Lock Haven, was arrested for Simple Assault and Harassment. Between January 26, 2024, and January 28, 2024, Edwards struck the victim multiple times in the head and face with both an open and closed fist while in an apartment at 5 W. Main St.

15-year-old male, Lock Haven, was arrested for Fleeing or Attempting to Elude, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, and other related traffic offenses. On February 4, 2024, at 3:02am, officers attempted to stop a vehicle on E. Church St at Grove St. The vehicle was operated by the 15-year-old male with three other juveniles in the vehicle. The driver refused to stop and attempted to flee from the officers reaching speeds greater than 70 mph on Bellefonte Ave heading towards Flemington. The vehicle finally stopped on Country Club Ln, Mill Hall.
