New Directors Sought for BMC

To The Community of Western Clinton County:

The Bucktail Medical Center is a community hospital; it is the property of the community. It is a non-profit business; therefore if we intend to retain our hospital, we must keep it active for the nursing home portion as well as the critical access hospital part of the facility.

We must realize that the hospital employs approximately 109 workers. The medical center is a corporate business which is classed as a non-profit entity; it must follow IRS 501 C-3 regulations.

To the community of Western Clinton County we must prepare for the future. The board of directors is in need of new directors with new ideas to work into the future. You must understand that the position of a director is solely volunteer.

To potential hospital board members:

Would you consider being a member of the Bucktail Medical Center board of directors?

Could you devote time to meetings?

You must have an optimistic attitude.

Can you work with a group as a team member?

Could you complete a full three year term if elected?

Will you be able to retain the trust of the community:

Duty of loyalty

Duty of obedience

Duty of care
