Lady Wildcats pull off big upset at home, down Lewisburg 44-41

MILL HALL- Back on January 26, head coach Scott Baker’s Central Mountain Lady Wildcats fell to Lewisburg by 20 points. A couple weeks later and Central Mountain turned around their fortunes against the Lady Green Dragons and would shock 12-8 Lewisburg 44-41.
Lewisburg appeared to be headed to another huge win over CM following an 11-2 first quarter advantage. The Lady Green Dragons kept rolling with a 19-14 second quarter lead at the half.
Central Mountain would storm back in the third quarter. A 16-12 third quarter run would see the hosts trail Lewisburg by just one point at 31-30.
The Lady Wildcats would close the game out on a 14-10 advantage to pull off the stunning win.
Taylor Doyle led the Lady Wildcats with 14 points and Lena Walker added 13 points.
Teagan Osundi led Lewisburg with 15 points.
Lewisburg fell to 12-9 on the season, while Central Mountain improved their season record to 9-11.
CM will next be in action on Tuesday when they face red hot Williamsport (14-6).
