Lock Haven City Police News Release February 7, 2024

Incidents:

Theft – Between January 14, 2024, and January 17, 2024, $500 in cash was stolen from a residence in the 10 block of S. Fairview St.

Hit and run – Between January 30, 2024, at approximately 6:00pm, and January 31, 2024, at approximately 11:00am, a vehicle parked on E. Water St was struck causing damage to the rear bumper.

Burglary – Between February 5, 2024, at 4:30pm and February 6, 2024, at 8:00am, an apartment in the 400 block of E. Bald Eagle St was burglarized. A lock box containing a key to the apartment was broken, the apartment was entered, and Dewalt tools were taken.

Theft from Vehicle – A vehicle parked in the 600 block of E. Bald Eagle St was entered sometime between February 5, 2024, and February 6, 2024, and a wallet was taken.

Hit and Run – On February 5, 2024, between 1:30pm and 2:30pm, a vehicle parked in the 200 block of E. Bald Eagle St was hit causing damage to the rear bumper.

Offenses Charged:

Deborah Moore, 54, Lock Haven, was arrested for Criminal Mischief and Recklessly Endangering Another Person. On November 16, 2023, at approximately 8:46pm, Moore threw a glass beer mug from the second-floor porch at the victim’s vehicle which was in the parking lot of the Shamrock Bar and Restaurant, 198 Shamrock St.

Justin Yatchik, 37, Lock Haven, was arrested for DUI. On December 31, 2023, at 1:59am, was stopped by officers on N. Fairview St for having an expired registration. Yatchik had also struck a curb while turning onto Commerce St from W. Bald Eagle St. During the stop, Yatchik was found to be intoxicated.

Cody Shadle, 36, Lock Haven, was arrested for Aggravated Assault and Terroristic Threats. On January 27, 2024, at approximately 8:34pm, Shadle drove at the victims at a high rate of speed chasing them from the area of 328 Bellefonte Ave to the 10 block of E. Bald Eagle St and came within approximately 3 feet of one of the victims. Shadle was also heard stating that he was going to the kill the victims.

Logan Baker, 41, Jersey Shore, was cited with Disorderly Conduct. On February 1, 2024, at approximately 11:26pm, Baker was intentionally playing loud music from his car that caused public inconvenience, annoyance, or alarm.

17-year-old male, Lock Haven, was cited with Harassment. On February 3, 2024, at approximately 6:20pm, the 17-year-old male threw a hard plastic bottle at a 10-year-old female at the Skate Park, hitting her in the face.

Laura Mikitko, 38, Mill Hall, was arrested for Defiant Trespass, Public Drunkenness, and Disorderly Conduct. On February 5, 2024, at approximately 9:57pm, Mikitko was repeatedly asked to leave Hanger 9, left but then returned. Mikitko was intoxicated at the time and causing a disturbance that annoyed other patrons.

Vadim Heverly, 35, Lock Haven, was cited with Public Drunkenness and Disorderly Conduct. On February 5, 2024, at approximately 9:57pm, Heverly was falling asleep at a table at Hanger 9, due to being intoxicated. He then attempted to stop officer’s vehicle from leaving the area by standing in front of it.
