January 15, 2024
Theft of Package – A package containing baby toys was stolen from a residence in the 300 block of E. Main St between January 3, 2024, and January 11, 2024.
Crash – On January 13, 2024, at 3:35am, a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed, failed to negotiate the turn from Bellefonte Ave onto N. Fairview St, crashing into the curb. There were no injuries and the vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
Theft of Package – A package containing dog toys was stolen from a residence in the 500 block of E. Bald Eagle St on January 12, 2024.
Theft from vehicle – Between January 13, 2024, at 7:00pm and January 14, 2024, at 10:20am, a vehicle was entered in the 600 block of E. Church St and a wallet was taken.
Criminal Mischief – Between January 13, 2024, at 9:00pm and January 14, 2024, at 9:20am, a vehicle’s tire was slashed in the 600 block of E. Bald Eagle St.
Offenses Charged:
Makayla Wetzel, 26, Lock Haven, was charged with DUI. On November 5, 2023, at 1:09am, Officers responded to a hit and run crash in the 500 block of E. Park St. Wetzel was identified as the driver of the vehicle and was found to be under the influence of methamphetamine.
Jaklyn Stevens, 19, Lock Haven, was cited for Disorderly Conduct. On November 13, 2023, at approximately 8:30pm, Stevens waited outside of the Dollar General for another female, then went inside and confronted the female which turned into a physical altercation.
Scott Barnes, 50, Lock Haven, was arrested for Harassment. On December 10, 2023, at 11:56am, Barnes was yelling threats through his apartment wall, in the 600 block of E. Bald Eagle St at his neighbor causing them alarm.
Jennifer Gardner, 28, Lock Haven was arrested for Harassment. On January 5, 2024, at 4:45pm, Gardner was yelling profanities at the victim in the area of 600 block of E. Bald Eagle St.
Harry Braim III, 37, Lock Haven, was arrested for a PFA violation. On January 11, 2024, at approximately 10:30am, Braim spoke with a protected party of a PFA on the phone.
Zakariya Hall, 18, Lock Haven, was arrested for Possession of a controlled substance and False Reports. On January 13, 2024, at 3:35am, Officers witnessed a crash at Bellefonte Ave and N. Fairview St and occupants of the vehicle flee on foot. Hall was identified as being on of the occupants by the officer even though he and the driver both denied it. Hall was also in possession of Marijuana at the time of the crash.
