Vehicle Crash
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – PSP Lamar responded to an accident on the Renovo Road (SR 120) on January 06, 2024, at 4:29 p.m. Jared Sweeley, 43, of Jersey Shore, was traveling west on SR 120 in a 2003 Dodge RAM 2500 when he attempted to negotiate an uphill right-hand curve but left the right side of the roadway and entered a ditch. The vehicle carried momentum and went up the embankment on the other side of the ditch before it slowed and overturned onto its passenger side, causing the vehicle to come to a final rest. SR 120 was closed for approximately two hours and traffic was not detoured. On-scene assistance was provided by the Lock Haven Fire Department and Martin Motors.
Harassment/Threaten Physical Contact
BEECH CREEK – On January 6, 2024, at 10:24 a.m., PSP Lamar received a report of a known actor, identified as a 56-year-old female of Muncy, who had been making harassing statements over the previous few days to the victim, identified as a 20-year-old female from Beech Creek. The statements were confirmed by witnesses as the actor was charged with harassment through MDJ 25-3-02.
Theft By Deception/Impersonation
GREENE TOWNSHIP – On January 5, 2024, at 4:36 p.m., a 65-year-old man from Loganton contacted PSP Lamar to report that two of his checks totaling $1,850.00 had been stolen.
Vehicle Crash
LOCK HAVEN – PSP Lamar responded to an accident on January 5, 2024, at 3:52 p.m. which occurred when Mureena Frey, 53, of Jersey Shore, was attempting to merge onto the on-ramp of SR 220 at the Lock Haven exit. Joseph Bucha, 44, of Clarence, was traveling in the merger lane when Frey failed to yield at a properly posted yield sign and drove into his path. Witnesses at the scene related that they observed Frey not slowing down at the yield sign, and pushing Bucha off of the roadway after striking his vehicle. No one was injured as a result of the crash and both vehicles sustained damage.

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – On January 5, 2024, at 1:39 p.m., Trooper Hall of PSP Lamar observed an active physical domestic dispute between Robert Koch, 52, of Thomasville, and Angela Koch, 37, of Montoursville while in a vehicle traveling on Hogan Boulevard in Mill Hall. The vehicle was stopped and both occupants were arrested. Two Non-Traffic citations have been filed through MDJ 25-3-02.

FLEMINGTON – PSP Lamar responded to a residence on High Street in Flemington on January 5, 2024, at 1:06 p.m. for an inactive domestic dispute involving a 23-year-old male and a 19-year-old male. Two Non-Traffic citations were filed through MDJ 25-3-01 as a result of the incident.

PORTER TOWNSHIP – PSP Lamar responded to a residence located on Dotterers Road in Porter Township on January 3, 2024, at 8:00 p.m., for an inactive domestic dispute between a 30-year-old female (victim), and a 34-year-old male, both from Mill Hall. Through investigation, it was alleged by the victim that she was pushed by the actor during an argument. A summary citation for harassment was filed through MDJ 25-3-02.
PFA Violation
MILL HALL – PSP Lamar was dispatched to Danis Street in Mill Hall on January 1, 2024, at 10:27 a.m. for the report of a PFA violation. During the police investigation, it was confirmed that Jerome Billups, 43, of Middleburg had violated a court-issued PFA. Billups was taken into custody and placed in the Clinton County Prison after charges were filed.
Theft of Lost/Mislaid Property
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – On January 1, 2024, at 4:22 p.m., PSP investigated a theft that took place at Walmart in Mill Hall. The victim, a 67-year-old female from Gallatin, TN, used a self-checkout and selected the “cash back” option but forgot to retrieve her money out of the machine. Another customer behind her in line took the money and left the store. The investigation is currently ongoing.

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – On December 28, 2023, at 3:22 p.m., a 70-year-old female came to the PSP Lamar Barracks to report a theft by deception valuing $315,000.00. This incident is currently under investigation.
Defiant Criminal Trespass
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – PSP Lamar Troopers responded to Lionel Lane/Sagamore Drive in Bald Eagle Township on December 28, 2023, to check on the welfare of a victim identified as a 45-year-old male. On the scene, the victim told Troopers that his ex-girlfriend was in his home and refusing to leave. Troopers instructed the arrestee, Felicia Leonard, 38, of S. Williamsport, to leave the property. When Leonard refused, she was arrested for defiant trespass and was taken to the Clinton County Prison.
Simple/Harassment Between Entities
LAMAR – PSP Lamar investigated a domestic disturbance that allegedly involved a firearm. The incident took place on Bolopue Road in Lamar on December 27, 2023, at 4:30 p.m. Through investigation, it was determined that no crime was committed.
Theft By Deception/Identity Theft
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – Between December 24 and December 26, 2024, an incident of theft was reported to PSP Lamar which took place at 138 Crystal Beech Road in Bald Eagle Township. The property found includes a United States Passport, a Social Security Card, and an HSBC Card. This investigation remains open.
Criminal Mischief $1,000+
PORTER TOWNSHIP – A PSP Lamar Trooper responded to the TA Travel Center located at 5600 Nittany Valley Drive in Lamar for a criminal mischief incident on December 25, 2023, at 6:35 a.m. An unknown suspect(s) tampered with a reefer trailer while it was parked in the rear parking lot. According to the police report, a trailer load of frozen bread valued at $100,000.00 was damaged and a 2014 Utility Trailer was vandalized. Firearm Sale or Transfer
LAMAR TOWNSHIP – On November 25, 2023, at 1:24 p.m. a suspect attempted to purchase a firearm at Miller’s Gun Shop located at 6945 Nittany Valley Drive in Lamar. This case remains open pending further investigation.
