Criminal Mischief under $1,000
BEECH CREEK – PSP Lamar responded to Beverly Drive in Beech Creek on December 18, 2023, at 2:45 p.m. for a reported Criminal Mischief that had occurred. A bullet was found lodged into an outbuilding causing damage to the structure, owned by individuals identified as a 39-year-old male and a 34-year-old female of Beech Creek. This investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information relating to this incident is asked to contact PSP Lamar.
Vehicle Crash
BEECH CREEK – On December 18, 2023, at 5:57 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to a call relating to a vehicle accident involving Bryan McGhee, 38, of Beech Creek. McGhee was driving a 2015 Ford F350 east on SR150 when he traveled off the roadway and continued down an embankment. The vehicle came to a final rest at the bottom of the embankment on its side. No injuries were reported in the crash.
Commercial Vehicle Crash
PORTER TOWNSHIP – A crash occurred on I-80 near mile marker 172.4 in Porter Township on December 18, 2023, at 1:46 a.m. according to PSP Lamar. Manuel Tenelema-Espinoza, 31, of Chicago, IL, was driving a 2014 Buick Encore with a passenger, Blanca Naraanjo, 26. Abdisalam Omar, 42, of Minneapolis, MN, was traveling east in the right lane while Tenelema-Espinoza was in the left lane. Tenelema-Espinoza crossed into the right lane and struck the vehicle driven by Omar, a 2015 Cascadia Freightliner. Following the initial impact, both units came to a final rest off the right shoulder. Passenger Blanca Naraanjo sustained minor injuries.
PFA Violation
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – On December 17, 2023, at 12:06 a.m., PSP Lamar troopers responded to the report of a PFA violation occurring on Hogan Boulevard in the Millbrook Plaza. Upon investigation, it was determined that no violation had occurred.
DUI/Drugs Vehicle Crash
GRUGAN TOWNSHIP – PSP Lamar investigated a crash on Renovo Road in Grugan Township on December 17, 2023, at 1:53 a.m. According to police reports, a male, 47, of Renovo, was determined to have been driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. The victim involved in the crash is identified as a 70-year-old male from Lock Haven. Charges are pending toxicology results.
DUI/Vehicle Crash
GRUGAN TOWNSHIP – PSP Lamar responded to a vehicle accident that occurred in the 4900 Block of Renovo Road, Grugan Township on December 17, 2023, at 1:53 a.m. Driver Jason Hritzko, 47, of Renovo, was driving west on a straight section of the roadway in a 2004 Dodge RAM 2500 (Pickup) when he crossed the eastbound lane and off the left side of the roadway. Hritzko then struck a guide rail and continued, traveling north until he struck an embankment and became airborne. The vehicle traveled a distance before impacting a utility pole and coming to a final rest off the roadway. Hritzko sustained injuries of unknown severity and was transported to UPMC Williamsport.
Hit and Run
PORTER TOWNSHIP – On December 17, 2023, at 10:26 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to a hit-and-run incident in the 5900 Block of Nittany Valley Drive. An unknown driver of a 2020 Jeep Cherokee traveling northbound on Nittany Valley Drive struck another vehicle, driven by Emmanuel Okyere, 26, of Bronx, NY, who was traveling northbound. According to police reports, the Jeep Cherokee pulled off the side of the road after the accident and then left the scene. Okyere sustained minor damage to his vehicle including a flat tire. No injuries were reported.
DUI/Vehicle Crash
ALLISON TOWNSHIP – Rhiannon Williams, 21, F, of Mill Hall was charged with DUI after crashing a 2012 Nissan Altima while traveling Renovo Road (SR-120) Westbound on December 16, 2023, at 2:23 a.m. PSP Lamar responded to the scene of the accident which took place at two residences located at 1038 and 1050 Renovo Road, Mill Hall. According to police reports, Williams’ vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway. Williams struck a mailbox before continuing off the right side of the roadway, causing the vehicle to become airborne. The front end of the vehicle made contact with the ground, leaving a gouge in the property and causing the vehicle to overturn. The vehicle then struck the concrete stairs of a residence located at 1038 Renovo Road, causing it to roll on its side and continue traveling through the residence’s yard where it struck a tree. While sliding on its side, Williams’ vehicle then made contact with an embankment, ejecting her from the vehicle. The vehicle then made contact with the residence located at 1050 Renovo Road before coming to a final rest in the front yard. Williams sustained serious injuries during the crash and was life-flighted to Geisinger Danville.
Disorderly Conduct
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – On December 16, 2023, at 1:08 a.m., PSP Lamar responded to Pennsylvania Avenue in Bald Eagle Township due to a reported disturbance. Upon investigation, David Ciancaglione, 54, of Rockton, PA, was intoxicated and yelling at people inside the residence, and attempting to start a fight. Ciancaglione then went outside where he began to yell in the window at a victim identified as a male, age 57, of Mill Hall. Ciancaglione was taken into custody and transported to the Clinton County Correctional Facility.
Retail Theft/Shoplifting
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – On December 15, 2023, at 3:47 p.m., PSP Lamar Troopers responded to a call at Walmart in Mill Hall. Deanna Driver, 57, of Beech Creek was issued a citation for committing the crime, which has been filed through Magisterial Court 25-3-02.
Hit and Run
LOGAN TOWNSHIP – PSP Lamar responded to a hit-and-run incident that occurred at a residence located at 1319 W. Valley Road, Logan Township, on December 15, 2023, at 11:19 p.m. The driver was traveling east on a straight section of the roadway when it traveled off the south side of the road and struck a vehicle that was parked in front of the residence. After the initial impact, the vehicle then impacted the aforementioned residence and left the scene of the accident, failing to stop and report the incident. The vehicle then continued east on West Valley Road according to police reports.
Hit and Run
GREENE TOWNSHIP – PSP Lamar responded to a hit-and-run incident on I-80 East near mile marker 192 on December 15, 2023, at 6:04 p.m. According to police reports, an unknown vehicle impacted the vehicle of Kenneth Lashley, 39, of New Haven, CT. Lashley was in the left lane traveling east when the unknown driver attempted to pass him from the right lane and impacted his passenger side mirror, causing minor damage to the mirror. Both drivers continued eastbound until Lashley stopped at the 196-mile marker and called PSP. The unknown driver did not stop and exchange information. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
Retail Theft/Shoplifting
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – Stephen Naglak, 46, of Montgomery, was charged with retail theft/shoplifting at 6:42 a.m. on December 12, 2023, after Asset Protection Members of Walmart in Mill Hall reported to PSP Lamar that they observed him place trading cards valued at $2,172.78 in his cart before leaving the store without paying. Naglak was identified after further investigation and assistance provided by Muncy Township Police Department and was also found to be responsible for multiple retail thefts spanning from Virginia to Pennsylvania. Charges have been filed through Magisterial Court 25-3-02.
Drug Sale/Possession With Intent To Distribute
LAMAR TOWNSHIP – On December 12, 2023, at 12:10 a.m., Trooper Hall of PSP Lamar conducted a routine traffic stop on a 2008 Infinity EX35 driven by Ari Gungormez, 29, M, of Paramus, NJ on Frank D. O’Reilly Jr. Hwy/US 220 S. Indications of criminal activity were observed by the officer, resulting in a search of the vehicle, which yielded a significant amount of a suspected controlled substance. Charges were filed through Magisterial Court 25-3-02.
Hit and Run/Title 75 Misdemeanor/Felony Violation
FLEMINGTON – PSP Lamar responded to a call at 562 High Street in Flemington on December 10, 2023, at 10:17 p.m. for a report of a hit-and-run crash. According to police reports, a black in color 2009-2014 Ford F-150 hit a pedestrian, Kambhalapally Balakrishna, 24, M, of Lock Haven. Balakrishna told police that the truck struck him and never stopped. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact PSP Lamar.
Terroristic Threats
NOYES TOWNSHIP – On December 9, 2023, PSP Lamar was dispatched to 16324 Renovo Road in Noyes Township for a domestic violence incident involving Clarence Huff, 51, and victim Malissa Huff, 51, of Westport. Charges were filed against Clarence through District Court 25-3-03.
PFA Violation
NOYES TOWNSHIP – PSP Lamar was made aware of a PFA violation that took place at 16324 Renovo Road on December 9, 2023, at 9:09 p.m. Appropriate charges were filed against Clarence Huff, 51, of Westport, through District Court 25-3-03.

DUNNSTABLE TOWNSHIP – At 5:40 p.m. on December 7, 2023, PSP Lamar investigated a reported PFA violation on German Road in Dunnstable Township. Further investigation revealed that a violation of a PFA had not occurred.
Retail Theft/Shoplifting
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – PSP Lamar responded to the report of a retail theft at Walmart in Mill Hall on November 22, 2023, at 7:43 a.m. It was reported that three black males entered the store, gathered $1260.00 in LEGO sets, exited the store, and ran across the parking lot before placing the items in a vehicle identified as a 2023 Gray Mazda CX-5 with FL registration. The males then left the area. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact PSP Lamar and reference incident PA23-1545034.
Theft from Building
LOGANTON – PSP Lamar investigated a possible theft of documents that were reported missing from the Loganton Borough Municipal Building located at North Mill Street in Loganton between November 7-11, 2023. Police reports include no further information at this time.
THEFT FROM CEMETERY
Between 12/14/23 and 12/17/23, a Christmas flower saddle display valued at $110 was stolen from a grave site at Saint Joseph’s Cemetery, 10350 Renovo Rd in Chapman Township. The incident is being investigated and evidence is currently being evaluated. This offense will be prosecuted fully. Anyone with information on this theft is urged to contact the Renovo Police Department. WARRANT
Renovo Police Department have charged Matthew Herbster, of Lewistown (Mifflin county), with Burglary, Theft and Receiving Stolen Property, all felonies, for entering Yesterday’s Hotel in Renovo and removing over $3,800 worth of personal items belonging to an elderly tenant on 10/08/23 – 10/09/23. As of 12/12/23, there is an active arrest warrant issued for Herbster.
