“Holiday Extravaganza” Luncheon, December 6

LOCK HAVEN, PA- On Wednesday, December 6, 2023 The Lock Haven Christian Women’s Connection will enjoy their “Holiday Extravaganza” Luncheon. The program will be held at the Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal Street, Allison Township. There is always good food, lots of fun and music, and gifted speakers that help inform and inspire ladies to make a most memorable day.

The theme of December’s lunch is ”The Christmas Puzzle”. The Feature of the program will be looking at the uniqueness of The Christmas Holiday. There will some puzzle solving, door prizes and a scrumptious Christmas lunch.

There is always a musical component at the luncheons and that part of December’s program is entitled “The Songs of Christmas”. The special music for December’s program will be presented by gifted area soloist, Beth Young and by Stonecroft speaker Doris Ortman.

“Riding Through Life with Laughter and Tears” is the title for the inspirational speaker, Doris Ortman from Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

The program begins at 11:50 a.m. The cost of $15 per person includes lunch, entertainment, inspirational speaker and free parking. All area women are invited. The location allows for on-site childcare for young mothers. Nursery reservations must be made at the time that luncheon reservations are made. Mothers are asked to bring a lunch or snack for the child.

This is a perfectly good time to meet new friends and catch up with long-time friends! The Luncheon is a warm and welcoming way to renew and refresh. December’s luncheon is a great way to get inspired for the Holiday Season. The dates for the 2024 luncheons have been set and are: February 28, April 24, June 28, September 11, October 23, and December 4. The group is requesting for all who plan to attend to make reservations.
