Longtime Keystone Central staff member recognized for her service
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP, PA – A longtime Keystone Central School District employee who passed away in August at the age of 85 was honored at the start of Thursday’s Keystone Central School Board meeting.
Norma Miller was recognized by the Keystone Central Foundation with a donation of new library books in her memory to the Mill Hall Elementary School where she had served as secretary. Deb Smeltz, foundation board member, told the board the late Mrs. Miller served the district from 1973 to 2007. During that time, she served as administrative assistant to multiple school district superintendents.
Those present for the presentation included Mrs. Miller’s daughter, Leslie Powers, a retired Mill Hall Elementary teacher.
