KCSD school board Region 1

Dear Editor:

I am Chris Scaff, a candidate running for KCSD school board Region 1, which encompasses Porter, Logan, and Greene Townships, and Loganton Borough,

I am interested in the following as a candidate:

Students Safety

Student Curriculum and what they learn to move forward in life to feel good about themselves and be productive

Parent and Peers involvement in all aspects

Total Transparency in all aspects of spending tax dollars, what were doing for YOU, the Taxpayer and your dollars

Eliminating unnecessary spending and spending responsibly

Do what it takes to get test scores at the level everyone can be proud of and get the best of everything for our students

We spend a lot of money per student and yet we lack behind a vast majority of other districts. We need to be at the top, not the middle or the bottom.

One person can’t make all these changes alone, so promising to do so would be ridiculous. I promise to stay focused and strive to reach the goals I’ve mentioned and to continually strive to ALWAYS be the best voice I can be for our students, families, and be responsible financially and get the best bang for your tax dollars.
