South, Bucktail tennis dominate Mid Penn All Stars

FARWELL, PA The 2023 Mid Penn Conference tennis all stars were recently released, and it was dominated by the conference’s top two squads. South Williamsport, who went a perfect 8-0 in Mid Penn play would grab four spots on the team, while second place Bucktail took home two spots.

The MVP and number 1 singles player went to South’s Sadie Stahl. Number two singles player also went to South Williamsport as Livy Harvey grabbed that honor.

Bucktail senior Mak Wagner took the number three singles spot, along with Montgomery’s Brynn Fisher.

Number one doubles went to Bucktail’s Kendall Wagner and Eva Sockman. They were joined by South’s top pair in Olivia Jackson and Emily Holtzapple. South Williamsport wrapped up the all-star selections with Mia McNaul and Sidney Ertel taking the all-star honors at number two doubles.

South Williamsport coach Theresa Summerson was named conference coach of the year.
