Pine Creek Township woman arrested on drug delivery charges
PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP, PA – Pine Creek Township police report the arrest of a township woman on drug delivery related charges.
Their report said that on Oct. 16 Mary T. Yost of 820 East Central Avenue, Pine Creek Township was arraigned on an arrest warrant that was obtained by by township police following an ongoing drug delivery investigation. She was charged with four felony counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, four felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance, four felony counts of criminal use of a communication facility and four misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance.
Yost is accused of selling bath salts to an informant on multiple dates from her residence; March 8, 2023, 2.8 grams for $200. March 14, 2023, 1.8 grams for $120 March 18, 2023, 1 gram for $120, March 20, 2023, 2.5 grams for $200.
She was arraigned by District Judge Keith Kibler. Bail was set at $75,000 and a preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Oct. 23. Yost remains committed at the Clinton County Correctional Facility. At the same time, Mary Yost was arraigned on a second warrant that was issued to township police for a separate case from July 7 when she was pulled over by officers after she was observed driving and there was an active warrant for her arrest on similar drug delivery charges from an earlier incident in January of this year. During this incident Yost was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after a search warrant of Yost’s vehicle was served and officers said they recovered cocaine, smoking pipes, packaging bags and needles. Bail was set at $2,500 and a preliminary hearing was also scheduled for Oct. 23.
