Keohane paces Wildcat runners at PHAC Invite

SUNBURY, PA – The Central Mountain Girls Cross Country team participated in the 46th annual PHAC Invitational on Tuesday at Shikellamy High School. The Wildcats finished 7th overall out of 14 teams. Danville won the team championship.

Individually for the Lady Wildcats, Grace Keohane , Gabriella Hosley, Adrian Samaniego, Sage Rippey, and Kennedy Metzger had PR’s on the day. In the varsity race, Keohane was the lone Wildcat to medal as she finished in 15th place.

In the JV race, three Lady Wildcats took home some hardware. Gracie Johnson finished 10th, Sophia Croce finished 14th, and Adrian Samaniego finished 15th.

The Central Mountain Boys Cross Country team also participated in the 46th annual PHAC Invitational, finishing 10th overall out of 16 teams. Lewisburg won the Championships.

Individually for the Wildcats, Damien Winner and Shayden Hill had PR’s on the day. Winner finished in 27th place in 17:51 and Hill finished in 76th place with a time of 20:49.80.

Both teams will race at the District 6 Championships on Saturday, Oct. 28 at Indian Valley Elementary
