CM runners finish regular season at Shik event

SUNBURY, PA – The Central Mountain cross country teams wrapped up their regular season on Tuesday.

The Wildcat boys defeated Jersey Shore 18-45, but fell to Williamsport 42-18, Selinsgrove 42-19, and Shikellamy37-20.  Three Wildcats ran PR’s: Damien Winner finished 18:10, Shayden Hill ran 20:52, and Cory Matejovich went 24:14.

On the girls’ side, the Lady Wildcats defeated Jersey Shore 26-31, but fell to Williamsport 32-23, Selinsgrove 29-28, and Shikellamy33-23.  Two Wildcats ran PR’s: Adrian Samaniego finished in 30:24 and Sage Rippey went 32:43.

Both Central Mountain squads will return to Shikellamy on Saturday to compete in the PHAC Championships.
