KCSD School Board Invites Public Input for Next Superintendent Search
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP, PA-The Keystone Central School Board busy in their search for a new Superintendent after Dr. Jacquelyn Martin announced she will be retiring in late January at the end of her current contract have requested the publics input by completing the survey below. The Keystone Central School District (KCSD) Board of School Directors is pleased to announce that the search for their next Superintendent of Schools is underway! The current Superintendent, Dr. Jacquelyn Martin, will be retiring from the District following her completion of the first half of the 2023-24 school year. To identify her replacement, the Board of School Directors approved a contract with DiRocco Education Consulting LLC: Keystone Superintendent Search Services to conduct this very important search. The District website will serve as their main source for updated information on the search process. Integral to the process will be input from the public. At the current time, the School Board is inviting input from stakeholders within the district, including parents/guardians, residents without children attending school, professional staff, support staff, and administrators. Before October 9, please take a few minutes to visit the District’s website at www.kcsd.us to complete a short survey.
Please note that a school board’s most important responsibility is the selection of their school district’s superintendent. The School Board seeks and values input from the community and staff, to attract a wide pool of candidates for their selection of the next superintendent through a confidential search process.
