CM tennis avenges loss to Shik with 3-2 win
SUNBURY, PA – The Central Mountain girls’ tennis team lost to Shikellamy by a 4-1 count earlier in the season, but bounced back on Monday with a 3-2 win on the home court of the Lady Braces.
Coach Tom Zettle said, “This was another big win for the Wildcat ladies. The first time we played Shik they beat us 4-1. So again very proud of the way the girls battled today. The first time we played them we didn’t have our No. 1 player Addison Lindsay so we had to move the all the girls up one spot. And that really changes things playing out of your normal position. First time around we lost all three singles and No. 1 doubles with No.2 singles being the only win. Today we won #1 & #2 singles along with #1 doubles while #2 doubles lost. Nonetheless they fought hard and pulled out the win.”
Lindsay, with a 6-0, 6-0 win, remains undefeated on the season.Central mountain 3 Shikellamy 2
