Renovo police seek woman in knife-wielding incident
RENOVO, PA – Borough police are seeking a woman in connection with an August incident on 9th Street in Renovo. Police have charged 21-year-old Alyiah J. Torres-Gomez with terroristic threats, simple assault and disorderly conduct.
The charges are based on an incident which occurred along the 100 block of 9th St in Renovo on Aug. 10 around 3:15 a.m. Torres-Gomez, no address listed, is alleged to have confronted a resident in the middle of the night with a knife, and threatened to cut the victim while holding the knife and cursing at the victim. An arrest warrant was issued on Aug. 17 and as of early this week, there remains an active warrant for Torres-Gomez’s arrest.
