Clinton County Night Out set for Saturday at Piper Building complex

LOCK HAVEN, PA – Clinton County’s second annual law enforcement/emergency services – community team-building effort is set for this Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the county’s Piper Building complex in the lower end of Lock Haven.

The free event is hosted by Clinton County Sheriff Kerry Stover and Clinton County District Attorney Dave Strouse After what they termed an amazing community response to the inaugural event in 2022, Sheriff Stover and District Attorney Strouse are announcing the sequel. Clinton County Night Out is a community team-building event featuring all levels of law enforcement, fire and rescue, emergency medical personnel, and first responders.

Every law enforcement officer or first responder in Clinton County is invited to participate. This event is offered entirely free to local families and is especially designed to engage children and build the relationships between the community and police and first responders. It will allow residents to explore various police, fire and EMS apparatus with hands-on tours of police cars, fire trucks and ambulances. Music, kid’s activities, bicycle safety course, display booths and demonstrations are just a few highlights of the family fun event.

The event aims to educate residents about public safety and strengthen the bonds between local departments and the communities they serve. Hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks and snacks will be provided to those attending.

This event is free and open to the public. Kids can register for a bicycle drawing.

Event organizers also noted the event’s newest, special attraction scheduled for 5:30 p.m., but would not say what it will be, adding this rejoinder: “Get the cameras ready, kids are going to love it, but we are betting the adults will too.”
