Little Lions down Wildcat tennis in district semifinals

STATE COLLEGE, PA – The State College tennis team downed Central Mountain by a 4-1 final in the District 6 AAA semifinals on Tuesday. But Wildcat coach Jeff Brinker lauded his team for its effort, “The Wildcats fought hard today. The scores don’t always reflect the effort and closeness of the matches. There were a lot of unfortunate close deuces that were lost.”

Keeping his season perfect, defending PIAA champion David Lindsay swept both sets at number one. As noted by coach Brinker, “David once again played lights out and held a strong player scoreless on the day.”

CM lost 4-1 against State College.
