Solid showing from Central Mountain Majorettes and Colorguard
TYRONE, PA – The Central Mountain Majorettes and Colorguard competed at Tyrone High School on Saturday and had great performances.
The majorettes had a big winner at the end of their show after taking down the house and the Colorguard brought the crowd to tears as they walked through the journey of letting go a loved one.
Both groups had some tough competition in their class and divisions, but the outcomes were amazing. Majorettes placed first out of two by only a 0.4-point difference. They had a 10-point score increase from the previous competition. Colorguard placed second out of four but had a 16 point score increase since the previous competition.
The next competition is Central Mountain’s home competition at Central Mountain High School on Saturday, March 4. The event starts at 1 p.m. with doors opening at noon.
Community members are welcomed to come out and support these amazing athletes.
