Robberies on the Rise

Letter to the Editor,

Under the cover of darkness on Tuesday, December 2 thieves broke into our garage and stole construction and carpentry tools that took my husband over 50 years working at his job to purchase.

This is the third robbery as well as an attempted robbery that has occurred to different homes on the upper half block of 9th Street within the last 2 months.

If anyone is asked to purchase tools, and it seems suspicious please call state or local law enforcement. They have compiled a list of items. We would appreciate any help from the good citizens of our town.

We pray this criminal act does not happen to others.
