LCC Educated on Health & Human Service Issues
FLEMINGTON – Leadership Clinton County held a session in December relating to Health and Human Services. Participants examined various health and human services systems, some organizations that make up the systems and issues facing our region now and in the future.
Participants had the opportunity to tour Clinton County’s 911 Center and hear from various emergency service personal that serve Clinton County. In addition, guest speakers with Blue Cross NEPA and Lock Haven Hospital discussed the various healthcare institutions available to our residents and the changes in the healthcare industry. Participants also held a discussion with some local human service agencies that provide benefits to Clinton County residents. These agencies discussed the different services they provide in Clinton County and explained the importance of volunteers within their agency. The day concluded with a discussion on Discrimination and Anti-Harassment from Albert Jones with First Quality-McElhattan.
