KCSD investigating possible incident involving Bucktail boys basketball
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP, PA – The Keystone Central School District, through solicitor David Lindsay, has confirmed the district is investigating “issues related to the Bucktail High School basketball team.”
The Record had been made aware of an alleged incident involving the Bucktail boys’ basketball team while the team was being bussed back to Farwell following a game at Benton on Monday. Keystone Central School District Superintendent Jacquelyn Martin, contacted by The Record, provided this statement from district solicitor Lindsay:
“The District is aware of, and is actively addressing, issues related to the Bucktail Area High School basketball team. In this regard, the Keystone Central School District immediately notified all appropriate authorities and an investigation is ongoing. However, Pennsylvania law absolutely precludes the Keystone Central School District from providing any public comment concerning this matter. Nonetheless, the Keystone Central School District has, and will, provide full assistance and cooperation to all relevant authorities going forward.”
Bucktail is next scheduled to play on Monday, Dec. 19, home with Montgomery.
