Bulldogs begin playoff quest home Friday night with Shamokin
WILLIAMSPORT, PA – The Jersey Shore High School football team, fresh off another undefeated regular season, will start their quest for another District 4 Class 4A championship with a home game Friday night at the Thompson Street field.
The District 4 playoff brackets were posted Sunday and they show the topo-seeded Bulldogs (10-0) will host Heartland Conference foe Shamokin (5-5), the four seed, at 7 p.m. on Friday. ‘Shore already owns a 62-0 win over the Indians on Oct. 7.
The other semifinal will also be played Friday night. Number two seed Milton (9-1) will host number three seed Selinsgrove (8-2). Jersey Shore did not play Milton in the regular season but put up a 63-0 win over the Seals on Sept. 9.
