Covid forces delay to Millbrook Playhouse season
MILL HALL, PA – Millbrook Playhouse had to call off its first week of shows due to Covid, pushing the start of its 59th season to Wednesday, June 8. SIDE KICKED had been scheduled to begin last week in the cabaret, the first such performance there since 2019, victim of the pandemic. The recent Millbrook announcement:
A positive covid case has postponed our first week of shows for SIDE KICKED, but we expect to resume performances on Wednesday, June 8! Postponing our first week will keep our staff and you, our patrons, as safe as possible while ensuring the show can go on.
Patrons who have tickets to the Friday, June 3, Saturday, June 4, and Sunday, June 5 performances who purchased individual advance tickets or tickets as part of a multi-show performance package will be contacted by the Box Office with the hopes of re-scheduling your performance date to one of the remaining performances next week. If that is not possible, we will apply the value of those tickets as a credit on your account in our system, which can then be used toward reservations for any other Millbrook event. However, if a refund is necessary, we will accommodate you. We will reach out to all ticket holders the next day, but if you have any questions, please reply to this email or contact the Box Office at (570) 748-8083, Option 1, Monday through Saturday from 10AM to 5PM.
Please be advised that staff is currently limited, so we will process all requests as quickly as we are able. If you call and get the voicemail, please leave a message, and we will return your call as soon as possible.
Please know that the well-being of our company and patrons is paramount to us, and going forward with the 59th Season, we will continue to take all precautions to ensure the health and safety of our staff, which includes Covid vaccinations and regular testing.
We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience and cooperation.
