Watson to play softball at PSU DuBois

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP, PA – Multiple Central Mountain High School student athletes recently announced their choice of college to continue their academic and athletic pursuits, part of the annual Wildcat signing day at the high school.

These student athletes were recognized with their families by their side as they shared their post-high school plans. The Record over the next few days will highlight each.

Caitlyn Watson – PSU DuBois 

Accomplishments: Three-year softball letter winner (2019, 2020 and 2021); hit .450 as a freshman, .462 as a junior (no games sophomore season due to COVID);2019: District 6 Class 5A champions, district runner-up in 2021; Named First Team District 6 All Star; Named Williamsport Sun Gazette All-Star Catcher; 2021 Wildcat Award for “exemplifying what it means to be a CM Wildcat.” Has 22 over the fence homeruns to-date; high honor roll student with 4.0 GPA; student athletic leadership club throughout middle school and high school; team captain for softball. Majoring in Wildlife Technologies at Penn State DuBois.
