LHU set to welcome spectators back to basketball and wrestling events; masks will be required

LOCK HAVEN, PA – Lock Haven University announced Thursday an updated spectator policy for home athletic events, which will include upcoming men’s and women’s basketball and wrestling contests. In a release, the university said it is excited to welcome fans back to Thomas Fieldhouse, but the indoor masking mandate remains.
Fans will be allowed to return to Thomas Fieldhouse starting Friday night when the men’s wrestling team hosts Cleveland State.
LHU’s indoor masking mandate remains in effect and all spectators must remain properly masked while inside Thomas Fieldhouse.
Fans must bring their own masks as masks will no longer be provided upon entering the facility. Without a proper mask, one will be denied entrance to Thomas Fieldhouse.
Disregard for the masking policy will result in spectators being asked to leave the facility and could lead to the spectator policy being changed again in the future. University officials will continue to monitor the situation over the coming weeks and will provide further updates if needed.
Following Friday night’s home men’s wrestling match, LHU will host a men’s and women’s basketball doubleheader on Saturday, Feb. 12. The women’s wrestling team will close out a busy home-schedule this weekend with Sunday competition in Thomas Fieldhouse. The full LHU athletics schedule is available at www.GoLHU.com.
