Lock Haven police seek public help in Sunday hit-and-run

LOCK HAVEN, PA – City police are looking for information on a Sunday hit-and-run involving a pedestrian at the corner of Bellefonte Avenue and Commerce Street.

A police Facebook post said the pedestrian was struck at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday and the striking vehicle, a dark color SUV, did not stop and fled the scene south on Commerce Street, then turned left onto W. Bald Eagle Street.

Police said the pedestrian was injured, taken for hospital treatment, then released. Anyone with information on the vehicle or driver is asked to contact LHPD at 570-748-2936.
