State, county COVID case update

HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Monday reported 3,437 new COVID-19 cases, the smallest one-day amount so far this month.

Statewide hospitalizations totaled 2,694, up 68 from Sunday. Those in intensive care totaled 614, up three from Sunday.

Clinton County reported ten new cases for a total of 5,589. Ten is the lowest one-day total since ten were recorded on Oct. 18. In Centre County 37 new cases were recorded for a total of 21,780. Lycoming County added 32 new cases for a total of 18,002.

The state Monday reported 10 new deaths. The death count in Clinton County remained at 83.
