State COVID cases update
HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Tuesday reported 3,898 new COVID-19 cases statewide.
The state said there are 3,000 hospitalized patients due to COVID-19, up 33 from Monday.
In Clinton County six new cases were reported on Tuesday, bringing the total to 4,588. The number of new daily cases in Clinton County is the lowest so far this month; the high was 33 on Oct. 3. Centre County saw an increase of 21 on Tuesday to 19,924, while Lycoming County increased by 36 to 15,258.
After reporting no new deaths statewide for three straight days, the state Tuesday reported 151 new deaths. The death count in Clinton County remained at 71.
