COVID-19 Update: Clinton Up 9; Centre Up 47; Lyco Up 50
HARRISBURG, PA –The Pennsylvania Department of Health Sunday confirmed as of 12:00 a.m., Sunday, January 24, that there were 3,976 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 803,933. That is the smallest number of new one-day cases in three weeks.
As of 11:59 p.m., Saturday, January 23, there were 83 new deaths reported for a total of 20,526 deaths attributed to COVID-19.The Clinton County death count increased by one to 47.
Local counties’ numbers: Clinton County, up nine to 2,426; Centre County, up 47 to 10,572; Lycoming up 50 to 7.760. Other area counties include Cameron, 228; Clearfield, 5,350; Potter, 799 and Union, 3,866.
Thus far 7,813 Clinton County residents have tested negative for COVID-19, an increase of 32 from Saturday.
