Accused Requests Full Preliminary Hearing in Anson Stover Death
LOCK HAVEN, PA – The office of Clinton County District Attorney Dave Strouse has posted word that the woman accused in the murder of 9-year-old Anson Stover has requested a full preliminary hearing. The hearing for Jamie Lynne Jackson has been scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 21 at 1 p.m. in the Flemington office of Magisterial District Judge Keith Kibler. At this point, the DA’s office said, the hearing is scheduled to be conducted in-person with restricted access to the proceeding.
Meanwhile Jackson, the victim’s aunt, remains in the Clinton County Correctional Facility, charged with homicide in the horrific death of her nephew.
A preliminary court processing was held before Kibler earlier this month. The district judge denied bail for Jackson, 36, of Lock Haven and she was remanded to the county prison. An initial court appearance had been subsequently scheduled, but was continued at the request of Jackson’s public defender attorney, Patrick Johnson.
Jackson had been arrested and charged on Dec. 2 with the Nov. 30 murder of her nephew. The arrest came two days after authorities found his fully clothed body in a bathtub in the Jackson home at 657 E. Bald Eagle Street, Lock Haven.
