Warning for Bald Eagle Creek in Effect through Saturday
STATE COLLEGE, PA – The National Weather Service has provided an update on flooding potential along the West Branch of the Susquehanna and its tributaries. In Clinton County, authorities are monitoring Bald Eagle Creek in the vicinity of the “cottage area” in Bald Eagle Township.

Flood stage is 11.0 feet. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 6:01 AM EST Friday was 11.8 feet. Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.1 feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon. Impact…At 10.0 feet, Overgrown pastures and agricultural fields on the left bank are affected by high water. Impact…At 11.0 feet, High water levels threaten the cottage area of Mill Hall downstream of Beech Creek Station.
