KCSD Remote Learning Continues through Jan. 8; Hybrid Schedule Announced

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP. PA – Keystone Central School District Superintendent Jacquelyn Martin provided her weekly update on Friday. It says online learning will continue through Friday, Jan. 8. Additionally a new hybrid schedule will begin on that date, allowing students to return to school for two days per week should they choose.

Her report to the school community also included a weekly update on the level of community spread for COVID-19. In Clinton County, those numbers dropped from the previous week.

The superintendent’s posting:

KCSD Families, Staff and Community,

School will be in session on Monday and Tuesday next week and then close for the winter holiday from December 23, 2020 through January 1, 2021.  Remote learning will continue for all students for January 4-8, 2021.

We are expecting to move to our new Hybrid Schedule beginning on January 8, 2021 in which students will be able to return to school for two days per week with their assigned cohort.  Details for your children on cohorts will be provided by the principals.  Parents may choose to keep their children full remote, or send their children to school on the designated cohort days.  Virtual Academy students will maintain their regular schedule.

Below is the most recent data for community spread for the counties in our school district:
