COVID-19 Update: Clinton Up 39; Centre, Up 49; Lyco Up 135

HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health COVID Data Dashboard Monday reported that as of 12:00 a.m., Dec.14, statewide there were 7,962 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 499,764. The one day number is the lowest since Monday, Dec. 7, when 6,330 new cases were reported.

The state reported an additional 55 deaths attributed to the coronavirus, the state total 12,620.

Local counties’ numbers: Clinton County, up 39 to 1,306; Centre County, up 49 to 7,737; Lycoming up 135 to 3,952. Other area counties include Cameron, 63; Clearfield, 2,861; Potter, 429; and Union, 2,219.

Thus far 6,578 Clinton County residents have tested negative for COVID-19, an increase of 37 from Sunday.
