Solemn Memorial Walk for Anson Stover Held
LOCK HAVEN, PA – Some 250 people, adults and children, participated in a Tuesday evening walk in memory of Anson Stover, the nine-year-old Robb School student who lost his life at his E. Bald Eagle Street home on Nov. 30.
Anson was a member of the fourth grade at Robb School and the “one last walk together for Anson” followed the several block path from the late youth’s home to the nearby school. A brief ceremony preceded the walk. Robin Lavrich, a guidance counselor at the school, spoke briefly, describing Anson as an intelligent and kind boy who will be missed by many.
Walk participants left remembrances at the entrance to Anson’s home. The walk and the remembrance site were lighted by luminaries.
